Winter Session of Parliament to be followed by Pre-budget Consultations by Finance Minister New Delhi, 3 Dec (KNN) Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman will be meeting stakeholders from across sectors once the winter session of Parliament ends on 23rd December, 2021, as reported in Financial Express.

Representative from industry, agriculture, health, education and experts will be present in the meeting.

The Union Budget will presented on 1st February, 2022 by the Finance Minister in Parliament.

Revenue Secretary, Tarun Bajaj has already met industry chambers and has received submissions of suggestions from FICCI and PHDCCI.

It is likely that Bajaj will have a meeting with CII representatives today.

While TV Somanathan, Finance and Expenditure Secretary has already met various government departments for pre-budget discussion on 12th Novemebr.

For FY22, the Centre’s fiscal deficit is budgeted at 6.8 per cent of GDP.
