Expo on natural dyed textile underway in Coimbatore Coimbatore, Aug 27 (KNN) Prakruti, an exhibition on naturally dyed textile products is underway in Coimbatore till Aug 28.

The exhibition-cum-sale organised by Hema Khona and Rajini Krishnamurthy aims to focus on the revival of use of natural dyes. 

The expo is being held at the Padmavathi Ammal Cultural Centre.



Around 30 artisans from different parts of the country, including five from Coimbatore, Tiruppur and Erode are displaying their products at the expo.

During the course of the exhibition, two hour sessions on natural dyes and a demonstration of how to dye fabrics will also be held.

The expo is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  (KNN Bureau)
