Reliance Jio on Tuesday launched 5G services in Mormugao, taking the total count to 277 cities receiving 5G.  Mormugao is now the 2nd city in Goa after Panaji to get connected with 5G.



Jio users in Mormugao are being invited to log on to 5G through the Jio Welcome Offer to experience unlimited data up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost, starting today.



A Jio spokesperson said, that, the two 5G cities in the state are important tourism and commerce destinations as well as key education hubs.  “With the launch of 5G services, consumers will not just get the best telecommunication network but will also get infinite growth opportunities in the areas of e-governance, education,” said the spokesperson.
