Traders are optimistic of recovery in upcoming festivals: CAIT #FinanceIndia #StockMarketNEWS
Traders are optimistic of recovery in upcoming festivals: CAIT New Delhi, Oct 27 (KNN) Traders are optimistic that their businesses will revive from the huge losses in the upcoming festivals which they have sustained in the past eight months, said the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT).

CAIT said that at a time when only 20 days are left for the countrys biggest festival Diwali, the retail markets have fully geared themselves to attract a huge crowd for Diwali festival shopping in order to increase their respective businesses after being badly hit by COVID pandemic.

The biggest festival is being celebrated in a very adverse situation but traders are hopeful that the business will take off to revive them from the huge losses they have sustained in the past eight months, CAIT said in a statement.

It is estimated that the consumers who have avoided buying anything but necessities during the past 8 month’s period, the consumers are expected to throng the markets for Diwali shopping, it added.

The traders body also said that the traders are well prepared to give a hard hit to the online market and to fill the vacuum of increased demands having a complete boycott of Chinese goods in India. They are also excited to promote the Prime Minister Narendra Modi call of Vocal on Local and Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign through selling Indian goods during Diwali festival.

CAIT has suggested trade associations across country that in order to attract customers to their respective markets, they need to sanitize their respective markets with the help of the local administration and proper arrangements must be made for  cleanliness and hygiene of the markets as also adopting all kinds of social distancing and health safety precautions to assure the consumers about their safe visit to markets and also make decorative lighting in markets to give a sense of festivity, said CAIT National Preside B C Bhartia and Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal.
